Mrs. Léa LeBlanc, 82, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dover, passed away at the Villa on Friday, January 20, 1995 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Belliveau Village, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Marie (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. She attended Notre Dame de I'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church in Pré-d'en-Haut.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Alfred Gautreau (Alfreda) of St-Anselme, Mrs. Paul Belliveau (Bernice) of Dieppe, Mrs. Edgar Belliveau (Marie-Louise) of Little Dover Road, Mrs. Francis Cormier (Rhéaldine) of La Montagne, Mrs. Yvon Poirier (Dianne) of Irishtown; five sons, Willie LeBlanc and his wife Gertrude of Fox Creek, Paul LeBlanc and his wife Jeanette of Fox Creek, Pierre LeBlanc and his wife Jeannine of Bathurst, Rhéal LeBlanc and his wife Pam of Dover, Roger LeBlanc and his wife Jeanne-Mance of La Montagne; 29 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred W. LeBlanc, in 1990.

Rested at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, with visiting hours held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass was held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church in Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday, January 23. 1995 at 7 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
